Today seems as good a day as any to post The Girl’s first solo review. She really wants to review more books on her own, and that’s fine with me. She’s tickled pink that I created her very own list of book reviews in the sidebar.

Before I turn the blog over to her, I wanted to do a little mommy bragging. 🙂 Her school’s librarian had everyone choose from a list of books and write reviews. This is the review she turned in, and she received an A! The librarian even selected her review to hang on the wall! Great job, Sweetheart! I’m very proud of you.

The Case of the Glow in the Dark Ghost by James Preller
Reviewed by The Girl (age eight)

This book is about Jigsaw Jones who is a detective. His friends Mira and Cassandra come to his tree house and told him about the glow in the dark ghost. The ghost is seen at school every Tuesday night. Jigsaw goes to the school to find the ghost. My favorite part of the book is when Mira gave Jigsaw a backwards message and they found footprints on the floor. I think others should read the book even though it starts out slow because it gets better in the middle.

Disclosure:  I borrowed The Case of the Glow in the Dark Ghost from the library. My mom is an Amazon associate.
