Dear readers, I have some fantastic news for you! Jennifer Joy’s newest novel, Fitzwilliam Darcy, Guardian, will be published on Saturday, November 23, and you can pre-order it now on Amazon (U.S. | U.K.). In addition, I have the honor of unveiling the cover for you today, and Jennifer is offering some gifts to celebrate the release!
Before I show you the beautiful cover, let’s read the book blurb!
He lost everyone he loved … except for a secret baby.
Fitzwilliam Darcy will lie and break the law to keep his sister’s newborn safe. When the only way to protect her is to have an heir of his own, his search for a trustworthy wife begins…
She was her father’s favorite … until he sacrificed her happiness.
When Elizabeth Bennet’s father falls gravely ill, she is willing to shoulder the responsibility of her family’s care while maintaining her freedom — until she is forced to marry Mr. Darcy.
One broken man + one bitter lady = one happy family?
Through grief and betrayal, Darcy and Elizabeth learn to trust each other and work together to honor the promises they have made — including the vows they exchanged.
But a spiteful enemy from Darcy’s past is determined to divide their family, and the law is on his side…
Oh my goodness! When a mere book blurb gets your heart racing! A secret baby…a forced marriage…OMG! I hope you all are as intrigued as I am!
Now, the moment you’ve been waiting for: introducing Fitzwilliam Darcy, Guardian:
What a beautiful cover! It certainly conveys the seriousness of their circumstances, and yet there’s some tenderness and passion. What do you think??

I love forced marriage stories. So this book sound very interesting. Love the cover. I think it captures what appears to be tentative affection between Darcy and Elizabeth – touching but not looking at each other. Looking forward to reading.

Thank you! I loved how Darcy and Elizabeth fall in love in this. Definitely a bumpy start, but it makes their HEA all the more deserved.

I have read all of Joy’s (and her mother’s) books and truly enjoyed them all. The fact that “Elizabeth” is looking down and away gives me the feeling that she is just “accepting” attentions as she knows she must but is not truly warm and accepting. It is a lovely cover even with those sad thoughts. I look forward to reading this story and will do so even if I don’t win a copy. Wouldn’t miss it. Good luck with the release, Jennifer. Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate that holiday.

I love the cover, both eyes closed liked saying please let it be a dream. But if you look William is looking (with eyes closed) at Elizabeth.
The book sounds great. Elizabeth having to let go and William trying to trust.

jenred88 at yahoo. com Jennifer and Anna thanks so much for the preview. I love a story where ODC starts off on rocky ground. And I wonder who the evil intruder is. Could it be someone from canon or not? Beautiful cover. The expression on their faces suggests many possibilities. CAN’T WAIT! ♫

Cover: beautiful: I see the tenderness in the male and a reluctance on the part of the female. She seems to be holding back.
Story: Now… who is the father of Georgiana’s baby? Is this Wickham? Is he the spiteful enemy that has the law on his side? Grrr! Someone needs to shoot that SBRB. He is a bitter pill to any and all that know him. I beg your pardon. It appears I’ve had too much coffee this morning. I’m rather vengeful it seems. I can’t wait to read this. I have it on my wish-list and would love to win a copy. jwgarrett@hotmail.com

haha! I think Elizabeth took to drinking more coffee, too! She’s a feisty lady who doesn’t take kindly to losing her freedom … or anyone who threatens her new family.
Thank you!

Wow! The cover is interesting: one wonders what the two individuals are thinking. The blub has most certainly sparked my interest. FD has lost everyone he loves-does this mean G died in childbirth? It sounds like ODC join forces to fight the world, after their initial wariness. This book is definitely going on my wish list.

What a lovely cover! They certainly look close here. I do love early marriage scenarios and it looks like they do manage to fall in love. I wonder who the spiteful person is? (There are several I could choose from!)

Okay, here’s the thing. I would like to think I wasn’t influenced to buy a book because of its cover, but man, that purple shading and their pose showing all the feels is a strong pull. The blurb makes it sound like the cover is the icing on the cake.
Congrats to Jennifer Joy!

I can’t tell you how excited I am for this book! I love Jennifer’s take on Elizabeth and Darcy in all the books she has written. She stays true to their characters while adding her own unique flair to their personalities. But I am especially excited to see her take on a forced marriage between Elizabeth and Darcy. Every time I think I know where she is going with one of her books, she proves me wrong and it is so fun to be kept in suspense until the final reveal. I know this book will be another story of hers which I shall treasure.

Congrats to you, Jennifer! What a beautiful cover to look at. I can see a continuous theme here using the same models in Books 2 and 3 of Dimensions of Darcy in different poses with different background. I love the lavender fields because I think it is what Elizabeth’s fragrance smell like. And contrast it with the lovely warm colours of sunset and it’s picture perfect.
