Jeff Rivera, editor-in-chief of The Gatekeepers Post, recently interviewed me about my book preferences and pitches sent from publicists and authors. The Gatekeepers Post is a social media book publishing community. I hope you’ll hop over and check it out. Thanks!

I really enjoyed being drawn into your reading life, Anna. Lately I’ve been doing what you mentioned — taking the time to read a few paragraphs of a book before making the decision to buy it or to check it out of the library.
And was I ever surprised when I got to the end of the post and read that CeeCee was among your favorites of 2010! Thanks so much.

I don’t know of any humorous books I have ready. However, I did quite enjoy the Bunko Babes series by Maria Geraci. Now you have me all excited for a posslible book about Mr. Darcy in the future. I too love Persuasion. I think Capt. Wentworth and Anne are just as captivating as Elizabeth and Darcy.
I wonder if because some schools teach P&P and do not teach her other novels, like Persuasion, that is why it is more popular, which then gives it more marketing and a larger audience. I am sure if all these Darcy lovers out there read Persuasion they would love it and Capt. Wentworth too!
