It felt like I did a lot more reading last month, but I read just one more book than July. I read 10 books in August, bringing my total for the year to 79. I’m pretty confident I can reach my goal of 100. I’ve also managed to keep with my goal of reviewing all the books I read.
Here’s my list for the month, and you can click the links to read my reviews:
Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange*
Inés of My Soul by Isabel Allende
Hugh and Bess by Susan Higginbotham
Stones in Water by Donna Jo Napoli**
The Madonnas of Leningrad by Debra Dean**
He Was My Chief by Christa Schroeder**
A Girl’s Guide to Modern European Philosophy by Charlotte Greig
The Luckiest Penny by Deborah Weed and Ernest Socolov
Dirty Water by Mary-Ann Tirone Smith and Jere Smith
Floating in My Mother’s Palm by Ursula Hegi
So tell me…how many books did you read in August? Are you meeting your personal reading goals?
