March was another slow month for me, but 2 of the books I read were nearly 600 pages long. I read 8 books last month, same as in February. Counting the 10 books I read in January, that’s 26 books so far this year. And I’m still making good on my goal of reviewing every book I read.
Here’s a list of the books I read in March and links to the reviews:
An Obsolete Honor by Helena P. Schrader
Galway Bay by Mary Pat Kelly
Willing Spirits by Phyllis Schieber
The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker
Deep Dish by Mary Kay Andrews
Everyone Is Beautiful by Katherine Center
Wild Horses by Jenny Oldfield
The Mechanics of Falling and Other Stories by Catherine Brady
It’s only six days into April, and I’ve already finished 3 books. Here’s to my goal of 100 for the year…
Those of you who set reading goals for the year, how are you doing?

Awesome! I’m not on target for my 100 books goal but I’m going to keep at it anyway. I doubled my goal from last year so I though I had better shoot HIGH. I would like to have a page goal but I’ve never tracked it before. so this year will be a benchmark year for that.

You are doing much better than me. I am in a reading funk. I want to, but can’t find the time to and it always brings me down when I can’t read.

Wow, you are doing awesome. I’ve only read one book this month. I’d better get at it or I won’t make my goal of 100 books. I sure hope you reach yours-I’m sure you will.

I’m at 16 on the year. Not bad, but nothing like my old pace of 12 books per month. I miss those days.>>*sniff*

Like you mentioned with reading 2 600+ page books, I started paying closer attention to page numbers this year in addition to number. Hope April is a great month–sounds like it already is!

Good luck on your goal. I think you’ll definitely make it. I’m a little behind on my goal, but I’ll catch up in the summer.

Most of my friends think I read a ton – 40 books so far this year – but I am amazed that some bloggers finish 40 in a month! You’re on track to reach your goals – so good for you.

bkclubcare: Don’t give up now, there’s still a lot of year left. I’m going to have a hard enough time meeting the 100 books goal, I don’t think setting page goals is a good idea for me.>>Serena: Ain’t that right. LOL But I don’t want a longer work commute to give me more reading time!!>>Erika Lynn: Thanks!>>Ti: Sorry you’re in a reading funk. I’ve been lucky. Hope you get back in the swing of things soon.>>Dar: Thanks! I’m sure you can meet your goal, too.>>Jo-Jo: Thanks! Granted, one of those was a kid’s book, but it was still over 100 pages. 😉>>Susan: 12 per month! Wow, that would be a record for me.>>Nicole: Thanks!>>Trish: Thanks! I don’t usually pay attention to page numbers, but 2 chunksters in a row was a bit much. At least I enjoyed them both.>>Carol: Thanks! I have faith that you’ll meet your goals.>>Toni: Thanks! Hope your reading funk ends soon.>>Iliana: Thanks! I’m trying to review everything mostly to keep track of things for myself. I don’t want to forget the books I’ve read.>>Ladytink: Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed the book, too.>>Lenore: 40 in a month would be a dream for me. I’m lucky to hit 10, and I’ve only done that once. 40 for the year is a great pace.
