Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend! Here’s what’s on my mind today:
**Feedburner is going away, so if you subscribed to Diary of an Eccentric in a feed reader using my old (and since removed) Feedburner button, you’ll have to update my feed in order to keep following my reviews.
You can change the feed to http://diaryofaneccentric.wordpress.com/feed or use the buttons in the top of the sidebar to re-subscribe. It’s quick and easy. Thank you!!
(If you subscribe by e-mail, there’s no need to do anything, as I use the WordPress widget for that.)
**I have some giveaway winners to announce!

Susan of Suko’s Notebook, who won the paperback, and Oksana, who won the e-book of The Future Mrs. Darcy by Maria Grace, as well as Leslie of Under My Apple Tree, who won the paperback and book cover poster of Diary of a One-Night Stand by Alexandrea Weis. Congratulations and happy reading!!
**I’m taking another much needed, one-week mental health vacation this week, during which I intend to read more of the pile of Austen-inspired novels I grabbed from the library and work on my own novel-in-progress. I really am grateful for this alone time and am already looking forward to the week I have to myself in November. I might not be online too much this week because I really want to just read, write, and relax, but I’ll catch up with all of your blogs soon!
**Read any great books lately? Let me know in the comments!

Have a great week off….another week of stress for me! LOL But seriously have fun.
Yes, one week of stress for you, followed by TWO for me.
Savor your mental health vacation, Anna! Hope you can really relax and enjoy.
Thanks, Beth! I read a book a day, so I sure did relax and savor.
To let you know The Skin of Water by Greg Johnson is free for kindle on amazon today. A fantastic historical set during WWII. Cheers!
Thanks for letting me know!
Anna, thank you very much–my Mrs. Darcy book already arrived! I hope you enjoy your break. I could use a reading break myself, which could be a chance to read all of my new Darcy books!
Yay! Thanks for letting me know it arrived.
I feel like an idiot, but I don’t even know if this feed burner issue is going to affect me. Guess I’ll find out. And a mental break vacation sounds like a really good idea! I think my favorite book in the last few weeks was “The Bucolic Plague”, but I have actually been on a roll here lately.
Glad I was able to help you figure it out.
Congratulations to your winners! Enjoy your break!! My favorite book that I’ve read recently is probably Fire in the Ashes.
Thanks! I’ll have to check out Fire in the Ashes.
Have a relaxing week and thanks for the giveaway.
Thanks, Leslie!
Enjoy your relaxation week. I did finish The Sausage Maker’s Daughter and thought it was very good.
Oh, good, I’ve been curious about that book!
Enjoy your week off. I’m enjoying “The Book Thief” at the moment
Please let me know your thoughts after finishing it. It’s one of my favorite books!
Happy Mental Health Break!
Thanks, Care, I sure needed it. Now it’s back to the grindstone.
Enjoy your week and good luck with the novel!
Thanks, Lisa!
I need a mental health week too! Sept and Oct are crazy this year. Too much going on.
That’s for sure! Hope you get some R&R soon!
Have a wonderful week on holiday. Enjoy and relax
Thanks, Mystica. It was very relaxing.
Enjoy the week off. I call them personal snow days when I take some. And tucking into some Austen inspired reading is the perfect way to spend them.
I actually mixed up the reading. Personal snow days! LOL
Enjoy this time away and recharge!! Writing your own book??! How exciting!
Thanks, Staci! I hope I can stay motivated enough to finish it.
