Weekend Jumble of Thoughts: Anniversary and Austenesque Extravaganza

Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend! Here’s what’s on my mind today:

**Happy anniversary to my wonderful husband, Jerry! We were married 12 years ago today, and we spent a lovely morning strolling through the park with The Girl, enjoying the nice breeze and the warm weather while it lasts. Before lunch, we looked at our wedding and honeymoon albums, with The Girl laughing about how young we looked. Tomorrow, we’ll be spending the day together while The Girl is at school, and we’re having lunch at the new Bobby Flay burger place by our house.

**I have this week off from work for a mental health vacation. I have a dozen Austenesque books out of the library right now and plenty of alone time for reading. I’m a happy girl for sure!

**Lastly, I was featured on Austenesque Reviews’ Spotlight Saturday as part of this month’s Austenesque Extravaganza. I hope you’ll check out my thoughts on Austenesque novels…there’s even a giveaway!

Happy anniversary, Anna! It cracks me up thinking about The Girl laughing about how young you looked. My 8-year-old looked at a picture of me, recently, from 1995 and said, “It KIND of looks like you, but you’re much wrinklier now.” Pfft!
